What is Hollywood FlashBash?

Hollywood FlashBash is an annual drag queen event occurring on the first Saturday of each New Year. A celebration when drag queens leave their usual dens of iniquity and glitter the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard. It's a chance for tourists to see a side of life as glamorous as the old Hollywood they came to visit. . . and a chance for the Drag Queen to have their pictures taken. See, it's a win-win situation. Something naturists would call a symbiotic relationship.

It's public performance, it's glamour, it's art, it's dance, it's drag AND it's a lot of fun.

When is Hollywood FlashBash?

Hollywood FlashBash always occurs on the first Saturday of the year and is the first official drag queen event of the year (for those who believe there's a council or such that determines such things). The last HFB was January 7, 2006 and the next will be January 6, 2007.

How did Hollywood FlashBash get started?

Do I call a drag queen 'he' or 'she'?

She, her, lady, miss, girl, woman, chick, broad, whore or whatever. . . but not he, him or sir. However, if you take us home, you can call us what your little heart desires.
